"Free Lunch" is an audiovisual performance that offers a satirical portrayal of a chicken's cyclical journey through the animal farming industry. Set to an accelerating musical backdrop, the chickens engage in a surreal dance of joy as they traverse stages from slaughter to processing, culminating in their consumption by a gargantuan, insatiable infant. A comedic commentary on the relentless consumer economy, each rendition of "Free Lunch" is unique, but the quickening cycle of consumption remains a constant, inescapable force.
The performance is orchestrated through a MIDI interface, integrating 10 linear and 16 binary inputs to manipulate variables such as speed, camera angles, animations, skybox textures, and spatial distortions.
